creating (another) a custom phone case (+ a giveaway!).

12/06/2016

About a month ago, Nick upgraded his iPhone 4S to a 7 – finally. He also bought a couple cases, but has been eyeing my pretty palm tree case (good thing my phone’s a 6S, otherwise I’m pretty sure he’d swap his basic black case for mine!).

So, I ordered him his own custom iPhone case from CaseApp – featuring one of his favorite photos he took in Kauai.

The waves at Kauai’s Ke’e Beach were incredible!

I thought about giving it to him as a Christmas gift, but I’m always too excited to wait until December 25, so I gave it to him as soon as it arrived in the mail 🙂

What’s awesome about CaseApp:

  • Customization! You can easily upload any photo or graphic to create a one-of-a-kind phone case. The photo resolution didn’t degrade during the printing process, either, so the image is clear, just as I uploaded on the site.
  • A simple process. Uploading your own photo is a cinch. And, thanks to guide marks within in the online customization tool, it’s even easy to center or crop your photo so it’s positioned exactly how you want it.
  • Durability + phone fit. If you’re anything like me or Nick you occasionally drop your phone (his even skidded down the highway when he crashed his bike a couple years ago!). I have the regular slim fit case, which doesn’t make my iPhone 6 feel giant like my previous case did. The slim fit case also fits Nick’s iPhone 7 perfectly.
  • Quality. Although made of plastic, the case feels lux. Love the matte finish, too!

The giveaway!

Want your own custom iPhone case or custom laptop skin? Leave a comment below for your chance to win one of your choice. I’ll pick a winner at random at 9p on Sunday, December 11.

Full disclosure: CaseApp gave me an iPhone case. All opinions are mine. That said, I only post about products I love and use!

Please enter me into the drawing! I’ll have to look into this a bit more! You should put a pic of all of those cute pups on a phone case! 😉 Ahhh…puppy breath makes me smile!!

I’ve “customized” a few phone cases with stickers, but I’m definitely looking into this. If not for my (not-an-i)phone, then definitely for my laptop.

Great gift idea 🙂 I love the photo of the waves. Just looking out at the ocean is so peaceful. At this time of the year, we don’t really get to go in to the ocean too much because of the high waves (which is pretty cool to just stare out…) or it’s too cold (yes, we’re so darn used to the warm weather that low 70s feel cold to jump in the water).

Eri! You’re the lucky winner! Congrats!

And, I totally agree… there’s nothing more calming + centering that staring at the ocean <3
