In this series, I share my favorite things from the past month – the podcast that’s playing during my commute, the book I can’t put down, what I’m wearing on repeat. Here’s what I loved in February. Now tell me: what were your favorites from the past month?! Let me know in the comments!

Rewind Your Clock: David Sinclair, PhD, wants to “Cure” Aging on Rich Roll. I’m all for embracing my age, but I’m also totally on board with anything I can do to slow aging. Sinclair shares how we can do that on this podcast. (I also ordered his latest book and am excited to read!)
reading this book
In Shock: My Journey from Death to Recovery and the Redemptive Power of Hope by Dr. Rana Awdish. Part memoir of the author’s near-death illness, and part a look at the flaws of her profession of medicine – and how doctors can embrace empathy and create emotional bonds with patients. I loved this book so much.

The Age of Instagram Face by Jia Talentino (The New Yorker). This article blew my mind. Am I one of the few who’s never FaceTuned a pic for insta?! (Though I’d be lying if I said I’d never do Botox.)
making this recipe
My latest buddha bowl combo: quinoa, sweet potatoes, pickled beets, Brussels sprouts, and sardines. The latter’s been a random recent add – I forgot how good they are (we buy Wild Planet lightly smoked in olive oil) and how good they are for you.
wearing this
The robe from Lunya. When you get a robe, you know you’re an adult (or turning into your mom). This one is long and cozy, super soft, has pockets(!).
using this beauty product
Brilliant brow gel from Beautycounter. Regardless of your brow type – full and lush or barely there (like mine) – this brow gel fills ’em in and looks so natural. Bonus: it keeps your brows in place all day, even through 3,000 yards in the pool.
