Three stories for you today.
1 – When I went to pay for a recent hair color (balayage FTW!), my stylist smiled. “It looks like your sister already paid for part of your color,” she said.
2 – Then there was a Coeur Sports package at our front door this week. And, rather than triathlon gear inside, there were two dog toys for Luma.
3 – And, while we were watching a play at the History Theater last month, it snowed, covering our Jeep. We missed a few spots, and as we were waiting to exit the parking lot, a man walking by brushed it off.
All three were unexpected and thoughtful acts of kindness – the best kind. I’m still smiling! How did I get so lucky to have such amazing people in my life?! Thank you, sis, my Coeur family and random stranger, so much!
When was the last time you went out of your way to be nice to someone? It could be as simple as holding the door open or buying coffee for the person behind you in line. Heck, maybe you even buy their groceries. It doesn’t have to be extravagant – it just has to be thoughtful and preferably with a smile.
I truly believe that kindness can change the world. And, we all know the world can use more kindness right now. So, I challenge you to do something thoughtful for someone this week. You’ll feel good, your friend or stranger will feel good, and without a doubt, the kindness will snowball ♥
