I’ve had a lot of time to myself the past few weeks. It’s been filled with reflection, riding my bike (duh) and reconnecting to what makes me happy… hello, ideal introvert time.
But, the best part? Quality time with some of my favorite ladies. Every single time we’re together, I walk away feeling like I could conquer the world. Because isn’t that what good girl friends do? They make you strive to be a better person… they lift you up and believe in you, more than you believe in yourself. They help you look, and move, outside your comfort zone and (eventually) be comfortable with it.
I’m beyond grateful and am lucky to have so many good friends – from my besties in real life (you all know who you are) to my social media friends to my amazing Coeur Sports teammates – who do that for me.
So, ladies, surround yourself with strong women. Women who lift you up when you’re down. Women who challenge you, who push you to try new things and think differently. Women who want the best for you (not those who cut you down to make themselves feel better). Women who you can be yourself with, no questions asked. Women who love you for who you are.
Because when you do, when we lift each other up and support one another no matter what, that’s when the magic happens.

Your hair is getting so long!
Yes! It’s difficult to always find those women, but when you do, you stick with them!
Beautiful post from a beautiful girl =)
I just love this, Erin. I could not agree about friendships and quality time with the girls. I am learning more and more as I get older how important my girlfriends are and how much they mean to me. If only I could have them all in one place forever… I’d be spoiled. 🙂
ABSOLUTELY!!! LOVE THIS!
I love this!! This is so true. I had a few friends who didn’t understand all that I do and we aren’t friends any more. But I learned that good friends will encourage you and want you to do what you love. You have to surround yourself with strong and encouraging friends!
LOVE this. So true!
Great post, and SO true! I hope all women have strong women friends who lift them up and encourage their dreams 🙂
I absolutely love this!! There is nothing truer than this 🙂 This blog post came at a perfect time, since I’m challenging a girlfriend to think about issues differently to help make her happier.
I love this Erin! It’s so very true. I just spoke with a girlfriend tonight who lives far away and it made my night! We need to support and encourage one another… And surround ourselves with positive women:)
