Oh, hello, thirty-four (and new age group) (yesterday).
Not quite sure how that happened, but I’ll take it. Thirty-three treated me really well… the cutest niece in the whole wide world arrived, my first ironman start + finish line, two stamps in the passport, a sweet new tri bike, loads of new friendships both in person and online, celebrating two years with my main squeeze, signing up for ironman number two, closing in on #joblove.
But, great as it was, I’m pretty excited about the upcoming year; I have some big goals and big plans! Thirty-four is all about embracing + celebrating each day, ditching the someday drawer and making dreams happen.
There will be more family time and finish lines, friends and fun. More moments, fewer things. More long bike rides, more outdoor adventures, more change embracing, more reading, more travel, more boundary pushing, more connecting, more surprises, more laughter, more authenticity, more wonder, more play, more happy, more giving, more doing, less wishing.
We all have dreams, but they don’t mean much if we don’t act on them… if we put them in a drawer we label someday, for when we think we’ll have more time… filmmaker Brendan Leonard nails it, right?!
Bring on 34!
