As if I didn’t need another reminder that Hawaii is right around the corner, I recently got a new custom iPhone case + custom laptop skin featuring two of my favorite photos from last year’s trip to Kona. Because a daily palm tree reminder makes the looming Minnesnowta winter a little more bearable, right?!
Anyway, my boring white apple case just wasn’t cutting it anymore (and had seen better days), and I didn’t want the same case everyone else has from Target. Enter CaseApp, an online shop where you can create custom phone cases as well as laptop skins using either your photos or graphics.
What’s awesome about CaseApp:
- Customization! You can easily upload any photo or graphic to create a one-of-a-kind phone case or laptop skin. The photo resolution didn’t degrade during the printing process, either, so the image is clear, just as I uploaded on the site.
- A simple process. Uploading your own photo is a cinch. And, thanks to guide marks within in the online customization tool, it’s even easy to center or crop your photo so it’s positioned exactly how you want it.
- Durability + phone fit. If you’re anything like me, you occasionally drop your phone. My phone may have a couple small screen cracks, but my case is in perfect condition! I have the regular slim fit case, which doesn’t make my iPhone 6 feel giant like my previous case did.
- Quality. Although made of plastic, the case feels lux. Love the matte finish, too!
As for the custom laptop skin – obviously another photo from Kona (race morning!). The skin – basically a giant sticker – was super easy to adhere. I just lined up the apple logos and smoothed out toward the edges. Sure looks better than the ironman bike stem stickers that were on it!
