chasing the light.

09/29/2014

I had so much fun at Ironman Wisconsin, I just had to sign up for round two. Though I did contemplate (for about 10 seconds) not doing an IM next year. Because life. But, then I realized all this swimbikerun is a huge part of my life – it’s what I love to do – and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Plus, about 17 of my friends are racing, and there’s no way I could miss out on all the fun 🙂

Chase the light, whatever and wherever it may be for you. Chase it. -Tyler Knott Gregson

Here’s to chasing the light and really big dreams…!

I completely understand and that is a huge reason for why I did IMWI again in 2014 😉 I’m so excited to cheer you on and chase you around Madison and rural Dane County!!

Totally had similar thoughts this 2015 too. So happy/excited that I signed up again. If I wouldn’t have signed up, I know by the summer when everyone is swim/bike/running all over the place, I would be wishing that I did.

Congratulations on the decision – Wisconsin sounds like an amazing experience! And that is quite the crew who will be racing with you.

SO exciting. IM is so ridiculously addictive, someone should warn you before your first!

Even though the selfish side of me wishes you were doing Canada, I’m super happy that you will be heading back to Wisconsin for round two. It must have been quite the experience for you to sign up so quickly. 🙂 I’m excited to be training WITH YOU this year for a full. 🙂 You’ve definitely been an inspiration.
