My first 70.3 is on the calendar… finally! Today, Nick and I registered for the Chisago Lakes half iron triathlon (he also did it last year). I’m crazy excited for this race, as it’s been a goal for a really long time. The countdown begins: 33 days until race day!
Another highlight today: lululemon cycling apparel launched… finally! Not kidding, I’ve been waiting years for this. While still in my pajamas this morning, I promptly ordered the velo vixen shorts, sleeveless jersey + arm warmers (because most hot lululemon items sell out in.a.flash). Let’s hope each piece fits as well as lululemon’s yoga + running apparel!
And, I registered to win an entry to Ironman Florida 2012. Winning is highly unlikely – highly unlikely – but if I did, it would be hilariously fitting, as it’s the season’s A race for most of my teammates, and I was already going as Nick’s sherpa 🙂
